Dental Filling

A filling is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to normal function and shape. Removing of the tooth decay followed by cleaning of tooth surface should be done before placing dental filling materials. By closing off spaces where bacteria can enter, a filling also helps prevent further decay. Different types of dental fillings can be done for temporary or permanent tooth filling.
